This project features a custom aluminium pergola designed to create a bright, all-weather outdoor living area while preserving the open feel of the space. The pergola spans a generous entertaining area and is attached directly to the home, providing seamless integration with the existing architecture.
The roof is glazed with 8 mm Clear ClearVue® panels, offering exceptional clarity and allowing approximately 89% of natural light to pass through. This creates a sheltered outdoor space that remains bright and welcoming throughout the year.
The pergola is constructed from a heavy-duty aluminium frame, powder coated in Dulux Matt Appliance White for a clean, modern finish. Concealed 316 stainless steel post brackets provide a sleek appearance while ensuring long-term durability, even in demanding outdoor environments.
To complete the installation, custom rear and side flashings were fitted to create a weatherproof connection to the home, while an integrated Marley gutter and downpipe system efficiently manages rainwater.
The result is a stylish, low-maintenance pergola that extends the home’s usable living space, providing reliable protection from the elements without sacrificing natural light or the contemporary aesthetic.
