They’re made of two or more layers of pleated, reinforced fabrics joined together to create pockets of trapped air. This innovative structure helps improve your home insulation and reduce noise levels.

Duette® Shades are made from anti-static, dust-resistant fabric that repels dirt and dust. Duette® Shades not only make cleaning effortless but also ensure that you can breathe comfortably.

Duette® Shades are truly versatile  – they can fit into a wide range of window shapes, such as semi-circles and bays. They can be installed either inside or outside the window frames and even horizontally on skylights. Furthermore, they have a small stack height that makes them ideal for ranch sliders and providing uninterrupted views.

Although they appear delicate, the fabrics used to create Duette® Shades are composed of spun-bonded polyester, a highly durable material. The cords, rails, and internal mechanisms of these shades are meticulously crafted to achieve exceptional finishes.

Available in two cell size options – 10mm and 20mm, Duette® Shades can be custom made in 4 different configurations:

Bottom-Up – a conventional operating system in which raising the bottom rail opens the shades while lowering it closes them.

Top-Down / Bottom Up – offers utmost versatility, allowing it to be opened from the top, bottom, or even somewhere in between, ensuring an optimal balance of light and privacy.

Top-Down – allows to cover the bottom part of the window, while still enabling light and a view from the top, making it an excellent choice for maintaining privacy.

Day-Night – This innovative and seamless design combines two distinct fabric panels into a single headrail system, providing unparalleled control over light and privacy during both day and night.  (Please note – day-night configuration is only available for 20mm cell fabrics)

Translucent

Although these fabrics are not transparent, they allow light to enter the room while safeguarding your furniture from harmful UV rays. This way, you can appreciate the natural light while keeping your privacy intact.

Blockout

These fabrics are completely opaque, making them perfect for use in media rooms or bedrooms, particularly when combined with Duette® Shades’ minimal light gap, creating a space where complete darkness can be achieved.

Sheer

Sheer is a highly transparent fabric similar to net curtains, which allows a significant amount of light to pass through but gently alters and adds colour to the outdoor view.

Duette® Architella® Shades

Duette® Architella® Shades take the concept of honeycomb fabrics to the next level, featuring three internal air pockets for superior window insulation. By installing these shades, you can significantly reduce your energy consumption and lower your power bills.

Energy efficiency – A fully recessed, reveal-mounted Duette® Architella® Shade can increase the R-value of a 3mm single glazed window by up to 83%, reducing heat transfer and heating costs.

Configuration  – In addition to the typical Up-Down configuration, there is the top-down/bottom-up and day-night options that feature a sheer fabric for daylight hours and a blockout fabric for nighttime.

Sound control – The honeycomb-shaped construction of Duette® Architella® Shades is effective in minimizing noise transmission by dispersing internal sound waves. This helps to reduce the amount of sound reflected within the room, resulting in a more pleasant acoustic environment with reduced noise levels.

UltraGlide®

UltraGlide®  system utilizes a retractable wand mechanism to operate the shades, allowing for easy raising and lowering with a simple click and walk away feature. This system is cordless, making it an ideal child-safe option.

LiteRise

This is a cordless operating system that provides additional safety benefits for children and pets. The handle is designed to be stylish and comfortable to hold, and it gives the shades a high-end look when attached. Wider width LiteRise comes with two control handles. Child-safe.

EasyRise

This is a user-friendly and straightforward operating system that utilizes a continuous cord loop design. It is ideal for covering large windows, as all you need to do is pull the front of the loop to raise the shade, or the rear to lower it. It is also designed to be child-safe.

PowerView® Automation

PowerView® is a cutting-edge cordless operating system that can manage and energize Duette® Shades automatically. It allows for flexible scheduling and remote operation via a smart device app or voice control (with third-party integration), which provides greater convenience, energy efficiency, security, and child safety features for Duette® Shades. It has three power options to choose from, including battery-powered via an AA battery wand, a long-life Lithium-Ion battery pack, or a simple plug-in DC transformer, which makes Duette’s easy to operate and maintain.

PowerView® SkyLift

Duette® SkyLift with PowerView® Automation is the perfect solution for larger windows that are hard to access. These shades offer the benefits of honeycomb blinds, such as energy efficiency, insulation, and light control, while also featuring smart technology for added convenience. They are compatible with 20mm fabrics only and are not recommended as a complete blockout solution. They are designed to be child-safe. The standard cord lock is the classic operating mechanism where a long cord is used to raise the shade, and it can be locked at the desired height with a sideways pull. To lower the shade to the chosen level below, another sideways pull is required. Please note – it is only available in certain fabric options.

Powerview® hub for Duette® blinds:

The PowerView® Hub enables the management of PowerView® automated window coverings through mobile devices via the PowerView® App. Additionally, the Hub can integrate with Home Automation Systems using IP or cloud-to-cloud integration.
