Clear PVC Ziptrak blinds in Snells Beach

This project involved the installation of three custom Ziptrak® clear PVC blinds to enclose an outdoor entertaining area while maintaining uninterrupted views and protecting the space from wind and rain.

Each blind was manufactured using 0.75 mm Achilles® clear PVC from Japan, providing excellent visibility, weather protection and year-round usability. The system is manually operated with Ziptrak’s reliable spring-loaded mechanism for smooth, easy operation.

A key feature of this installation is the custom-made gable-style infill panels, allowing the blinds to seamlessly follow the shape of the existing roof structure for a clean, professional finish. The blinds were installed as reveal fits, integrating neatly within the pergola framing.

All aluminium components, including the tracks, bottom rails and brackets, were finished in a custom Dulux Duratec powder coating, delivering enhanced durability and corrosion resistance while perfectly complementing the surrounding structure.

The completed installation transforms the outdoor area into a comfortable, weather-protected space that can be enjoyed throughout the seasons without sacrificing natural light or views.
