At Wilson House in Hauraki, we delivered a high-quality outdoor shade solution featuring three custom shade sails supported by seven galvanised steel posts. Each post was etched, primed, and painted in Matt Titania, providing a durable and refined finish that complements the surrounding architecture.
The sails were fabricated from Extrablock® 330 in True Blue — a premium-grade shade cloth offering up to 96.4% UV protection, excellent dimensional stability, and long-term outdoor durability, making it ideal for New Zealand’s harsh sun and coastal environment.
Installation involved professional hydro-vacuum excavation, crane services, and concrete pumping to ensure precise post placement and secure footings with minimal site disruption.
The end result is a striking, functional outdoor space that offers both shade and style, purpose-built for comfort and longevity.
