Clear PVC Ziptrak® Screens

This project transformed an outdoor area into a versatile, all-weather space with the installation of two custom-made Ziptrak® clear PVC screens. Using premium 0.75 mm Achilles® clear PVC from Japan, the system provides excellent protection from wind and rain while preserving natural light and unobstructed views.

Finished with Pearl White powder-coated aluminium components and white welded side splines, the screens integrate seamlessly with the existing structure, creating a clean and modern appearance. The screens are manually operated with Ziptrak®’s reliable spring-loaded system, allowing them to glide smoothly and stop at any desired position.

Installed as a reveal fit, the project incorporates two fixed 50 × 50 mm end posts and one removable centre post. This design provides the flexibility to completely open up the area when required, while still delivering a secure and weather-resistant enclosure when the screens are in use.

The result is a functional outdoor living space that can be enjoyed throughout the year, offering protection from the elements without compromising openness, visibility, or aesthetics.
