Wave shades have a vast array of applications, both residential and commercials. Popular with wineries and cafes, this retractable shade is perfect for covering big spans across all types or outdoor areas. It can be attached to any structure, including houses, pergolas, walls and even poles – making it even more suitable for any area.

Highest quality stainless steel fixings and industrial grade aluminium divider battens offer and guarantee extended life cycle for these shades, making them ideal for coastal environments.

Manual retraction systems include easy to use poles or cords – nothing to break down or go faulty.

Standard Wave Shades run on two parallel wires and are not recommended to exceed 10 square metres. Should you wish to cover a bigger area, it is best to split it into several separate units. Otherwise, we can manufacture bigger wave shades running on 3 parallel wire guides, however these need to be first assessed by our engineering team.

Retractable Wave Shades maintenance

Wave shades are an epitome of easy maintenance – all our retractable shades can be unclipped in less than 15 minutes and the fabrics are easy to clean – just put it into the water and wash it by hand or with a low pressure hose.

They can also be taken down and stowed away during winter months if not required.

Wave Shade fabrics

Shade View 300 is the premium fabric used on the majority Wave Shade sails. It is a very high performance mesh fabric which is fire retardant, has a 5% openness factor offering high UV and heat protection.

Soltis Lounge 96 is a micro-perforated fabric, ideal for creating cosy atmospheres in outdoor areas. Available in 2.67m width to facilitate the production of large sized outdoor blinds with no visible seams. Thanks to the micro-aerations, it encourages the air movements and blocks the heat. The fabric is easy to clean and colour resistant to UV.

Soltis Proof W96 is a waterproof synthetic fabric that protects against UV and bad weather, while preserving the level of natural light transmitted. This translucent, waterproof fabric is ideal for wave shades. It also has a textured effect, enhancing the visual effect.

Actual product or fabric colour may vary from the images shown on the website. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colors, and every individual may see these colors differently. In addition, lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken can also affect an image’s color. It is highly recommended to physically check the colours in the swatches available for viewing prior to placing an order.
