Manual and automatic, Te Ra Origin is a great choice for standard applications. Available in White, Silver and Gravel hardware. Up to 7 m wide and 4 m in projection. Awnings wider than 5.5 m need to be automated. Minimum width – 2.08 m. Minimum projection – 1.6 m.

Te Ra Euro – similar to Origin, this open type retractable canopy boasts a sleek and elegant design. Can be both manual and automated (Somfy or Tube motors). Up to 7 m wide and 4 m in projection. Awnings wider than 5.5 m need to be automated. Hardware colours: White, Silver and Gravel. Minimum width – 2.14 m. Minimum projection – 1.6 m.

Te Ra Eclipse – fantastic yet simple open type awning that features crossed arms, allowing to manufacture an awning that has projection greater than its width. Roller valance – replaces the standard fabric valance and consists of a screen (mesh) roller blind up to 1 m in drop that is manually operated with a crank handle. Available for Te Ra Euro, Eclipse and Beam. Provides further shade in situations where the sun is low and offers enhanced privacy.

Telescopic arms – secure the awning when it’s extended to the full projection. Allows to operate the awning in windy conditions. By stabilizing the front bar, it improves the overall experience, extends the awning’s life cycle. Available for Te Ra Origin, Euro, Eclipse and Beam Luxaflex awning options.

Pitch Control – allows you to control the awning’s pitch (slope) at any time, what is usually only performed by the installers. By simply rotating the pitch control eyelets with a crank handle, you can control the pitch within a wide range – 5-40 degrees. Can even be applied when the awning is fully extended. Available for Te Ra Origin, Euro and Beam.

Rain Hood – half-enclosed aluminium pelmet providing additional protection for the fabric when the awning is retracted. Available in White, Silver, Gravel. Compatible with Te Ra Origin, Euro, Beam and Eclipse.

Luxaflex Awnings Operation

Retractable awning from Luxaflex can be operated using the following options:

Manual operation – standard crank handle operation – allows operating your retractable awning with the help of an elegant crank handle, supplied to suit the awning. Crank handles are available in White, Silver and Gravel colours. Manual operation only available for awning up to 5.5 m wide. Not suitable for Te Ra Viento awnings.

Automated operation – range of high quality automation packages – choose between Tube and Somfy (France) automation packages. Tubular motors are fitted inside the awning and feature quiet operation while being very discreet. RTS motors are remote operated – Open type awning are usually fitted with a Somfy Altus 50 41/17 RTS motor, while Te Ra Viento is fitted with Somfy Orea 50 40/17 RTS. Somfy RTS wireless remotes range includes Situo 1,2 and 5 channel remotes available in White, Silver, Rose Gold and Gold colours. We can also offer Smoove 1 RTS wireless wall switch and a range of Telis 6 and 16 channel remotes with built in timers allowing to program of up to 6 timed events per day.

If you’re looking at having a wall switch fitted with your awning – then it would either be Somfy LT 50 Mariner 40/17 WT motor for Te Ra Origin, Euro, Eclipse and Beam awnings. Te Ra Viento with a wall switch would be fitted with a Somfy Orea 50 40/17 RTS motor. The range of wall switches includes Inis Uno 1 and Inis Duo 2 hard wired wall switches.

All Somfy automated Luxaflex awnings can be fitted with a range of additional sensors:

Eolis 3D Wirefree RTS – high quality motion sensor, that registers the movements of the awning’s front bar and retracts the awning if the wind is too strong. Battery powered. Settings can be adjusted if required.

Eolis RTS Wind Sensor – hard-wired mill-type wind sensor. Fitted next to the awning on to a wall or another suitable surface.

Soliris Sun/Wind Sensor – hard-wired mill-type wind sensor with a built-in sun sensor. Can extend the awning at certain temperature and retracts the awning during windy conditions. Fitted next to the awning on to a wall or another suitable surface.

All Somfy automation packages are compatible with Somfy Connexoon hub – a smart feature allowing to control your Luxaflex awnings using your smartphone, tablet or Ipad. Connexoon allows to operate the awning from any location with 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi availability. Apps available both for Android and iOS cell phones. Includes timer function, that allows to set timings on blinds. Can control up to 30 individual channels.
