Luxaflex Evo Drop Arm Awnings is a study and wind resistant pivot arm awning model. Suitable for high wind locations across Auckland and any other major cities of NZ – Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown and Dunedin.

Thanks to heavy-duty drop arms installed with every awning, this awning boasts improved wind resistance. These can be manufactured up to 5 m wide and 1.5 m in projection. As its drop arms can go almost all the way to 160 degrees off the surface where the awning is installed, it can act as both a privacy screen and a sunshade for any time of the day.

Pivot Arm Awnings can be both manual (crank operated) and automated – Tube 45 10/16 non-tensioning motor or Somfy Loggia 15/17 50 RTS with fabric tensioning features. Stainless steel brackets guarantee rust-free service. Heavy duty bottom rail with an insect brush ensure a finished look. A range of mesh fabrics is available to choose from – Smart Shade Eco, Smart Shade and Smart Shade Plus. Clear PVC and Planosol canvas are also an option. Aluminium headbox both in open and closed style are included in the price. Spreader plate that provides extra fixing for brackets is also available on request.

Crank handle – sturdy 9:1 ratio gear box ensures that the manual operation is easy and comfortable for any user and in any wind situation.

Remote/wall switch – Luxaflex pivot arm awnings can be easily operated with an appropriate motorisation package – currently we have Tube 45 10/16 (non-tensioning) and Somfy Loggia 15/17 50 RTS (fabric tensioning) motors with a range of remotes/wall switches (wireless and hard-wired) to choose from.

Smart Shade mesh – wide range of mesh fabrics, consisting of Smart Shade Eco, Smart Shade 3000 and and Smart Shade Plus 3200.

Planosol plains and stripes – Well known high quality acrylic fabrics range. Available in both plains and stripes.
