Custom Shadetec 320 Shade Sail – River Sand
This custom-designed shade sail installation delivers generous sun protection while creating an attractive and practical outdoor space.
The four-corner sail, with an approximately 20-metre perimeter, was manufactured using premium Shadetec 320 architectural shade fabric in River Sand. Designed for durability in demanding outdoor environments, Shadetec 320 provides 91–95% UV protection, excellent strength, stain and dirt resistance, and is backed by a 13-year fabric warranty.
The sail is supported by four heavy-duty 114 mm OD galvanised steel posts, each concreted securely into the ground to provide a strong, purpose-built support structure. All sail hardware is marine-grade 316 stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long-term performance.
Installation required specialist equipment, including a Hiab truck for handling and positioning the substantial 6-metre posts, with excavation undertaken using suitable equipment based on site conditions.
