In collaboration with Australian-based architects, we delivered a tailored shade solution for Billy’s, a high-end restaurant soon to open in Arrowtown. The project involved the installation of eight manually operated Shaderunner® retractable shade systems, custom-fit beneath a gable roof to provide flexible, high-performance weather protection for the outdoor dining area.
Each Shaderunner® system is controlled via endless cord operation, offering smooth and reliable manual function — an ideal choice for commercial venues prioritising simplicity and durability.
We used Dickson® Orchestra canvas, a premium European fabric known for its UPF 50+ UV protection, fade resistance, and water repellency. With a solution-dyed acrylic composition and exceptional dimensional stability, it provides both performance and visual impact, making it well-suited for architecturally-led designs.
