This Meadowbank project features a sleek and highly functional aluminium shutter installation designed to enhance privacy, airflow, and year-round comfort while complementing the home’s contemporary aesthetic.
Custom manufactured in New Zealand, the shutters were finished in INTERPON GA078A Pearl White powder coating, delivering a refined architectural look with exceptional durability for long-term performance. Spanning over 4.2 metres wide, the installation consists of four fixed aluminium shutter panels neatly fitted within recessed U-channels for a clean, streamlined appearance.
To maximise natural light while maintaining weather protection, the project also incorporated a custom polycarbonate infill above the shutters, creating a seamless finish across the full opening. This tailored solution added both practicality and visual balance, perfectly suited to the space.
The shutters feature 89mm blades and a discreet ClearView rear tilt system, allowing unobstructed views and precise control of light and privacy. Designed with durability in mind, aluminium shutters are ideal for high-use areas and offer outstanding resistance to warping, moisture, and UV exposure.
