Our team recently completed the installation of 5 Alpha automated Ziptrak® blinds at a private residence in Tuakau, transforming the outdoor living space into a stylish, sheltered retreat.
Each blind features Shadeview Urban mesh fabric in the “Galaxy” colour, offering excellent solar protection, airflow, and daytime privacy without compromising the view. The blinds are track-guided, remote operated, and hard-wired for reliable, low-maintenance performance.
To achieve a clean, built-in look, we installed a full pelmet on each blind, concealing the top roll and protecting it from the elements. Above the blinds, we also custom-made and installed infill panels to cover the triangular gaps, ensuring a seamless, weather-resistant finish that complements the home’s architecture.
With each blind capable of spanning up to 6.0 metres wide, this system provides both functionality and visual appeal—ideal for creating comfortable, usable outdoor spaces year-round.
